Attention: Email Server Change on 21st June
In order to help keep it's customers safe against Email Spam, CyberOz is upgrading it's Email Server. Therefore we would like to bring to your attention a minor change which will affect all customers with a CyberOz email account. From the 21st of June, all users will require their full email address to be used as their username in order to login to check their email. For instructions on how to change your Outlook or Outlook Express program to be able to login, Please click here.

The email server will be down for a few hours during the changeover at 1pm on the 21st of June. Please be sure to update your username settings in Outlook after this date so that you can recieve email from the new server.

1. CyberOZ welcomes new customers, but you must be 18 years or older to subscribe to a CyberOZ Internet access or service.
2. CyberOZ will issue you with a username and password to access Internet services. It is your responsibility to safeguard this information to protect your account and personal information. CyberOZ will not be held responsible for any unauthorised usage of your account.
3. Charges for Internet access plans with CyberOZ must be paid monthly in advance. Failing to meet this obligation will result in the suspension or cancellation of your Internet access with CyberOZ at the discretion of CyberOZ without warning, and unpaid amounts of money owing will be referred to a collection agency.
4. Payments for all .limited. data Internet access plans can only be made by a valid credit card with a valid expiry date. You are liable for all usage changes on your CyberOZ Internet access plan whether you knowingly or unknowingly are aware of your data usage (including all received data and down loads).
5. Payment for .Unlimited. plans can be made by cash, credit or debit cards, or any other form (like direct deposit, cheque, money order etc) as agreed in arrangement with CyberOZ. It is the responsibility of the customer that payment reaches CyberOZ by the last day of each month for the following month.s CyberOZ Internet access plan.
6. A once off set up fee of $99 including GST for CyberOZ ADSL must be paid at the time of ordering. Normally, it takes from 5 to 10 working days for the implementation of an ADSL service, but may take much longer. CyberOZ will not accept any responsibility for losses caused by the delay or rejection of the installation of an ADSL service. The $99 will only be refunded if an ADSL service cannot be supplied but not if the customer cancels the order prior to final installation.
7. CyberOZ reserves the right to revise or update our terms and conditions. CyberOZ will inform customers (if possible) by e-mail to their CyberOZ e-mail account of any changes to the terms and conditions. CyberOZ will attempt to give 14 days notice to customers of these changes.
8. To terminate or change to another CyberOZ Internet access plan, a customer must give 14 days notice in writing by mail to 12 William Street, Rockhampton, 4700, Queensland or e-mail to accounts@cyberoz.com.au prior to the end of a calendar month. Unless otherwise notified, your plan is automatically renewed at the end of each month.
9. If you terminate a CyberOZ ADSL connection less than 6 months from the initial connection, a termination fee of $100 applies.
10. CyberOZ does not guarantee the continued and acceptable supply of Internet services and will not be held responsible for any losses caused by the delay in installation, the speed of the Internet access connection or any interruptions to the supply of Internet access service.
11. CyberOZ are under no obligation to filter any information or data that comes to you through your Internet access or to prevent viruses, or malicious computer programs or code, or unsolicited e-mails reaching your Internet access equipment.
12. You must ensure that your CyberOZ Internet access connection is not used for any illegal activities both criminal and civil including but not limited to distributing spam, gambling, copyright, defamation, intellectual property, trade practises, and harassment. You must indemnify and defend CyberOZ against and claims or damages related to illegal use of your Internet access. CyberOZ has the right to immediately suspend your Internet access if you fail to meet the legal requirements of the law.
13. You must not resell or on sell your Internet access with CyberOZ without written consent. You also must not transfer your rights and obligations relating to your Internet access with CyberOZ without written consent.
14. If an account is suspended or cancelled for non-payment, a reinstatement fee of $5.50 will apply.
15. Any vulgar language, verbal abuse or harassment of any kind and in any form to a staff member or dealer of CyberOZ will result in the immediate termination of any Internet access or service provided by CyberOZ to the offending customer.
16. Any usage of CyberOZ Internet access or service, or the ordering of an ADSL service indicates an acceptance of the above terms and conditions. Customers are legally, ethically and morally bound to comply with these terms and conditions. CyberOZ reserves the right to suspend or cancel any Internet access or service to any customer that fails to abide by these terms and conditions.
